Robert Donald "Bobby" Bunton, age 69, of Du Quoin, passed away peacefully at 6:39am on Monday, March 3, 2025 at home, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born Sunday, April 24, 1955 in Du Quoin, a son of Billy Carson and Shirley Joan (Hackleman) Bunton.
Bobby was a devoted father, proud member of the Eagles Club, and cherished friend to many. He lived life to the fullest, always prioritizing time with his loved ones. He reveled in the simple joys of family gatherings, sharing laughter and making memories with those closest to him. His infectious smile could light up any room, and his presence will be deeply missed. In his free time, Bobby loved bike riding. He was also known to sneak away for late-night trips to the park, where he liked to play basketball. As a proud member of the Eagles Club, Bobby embodied the values of camaraderie and community.
