With great sorrow, we announce the unexpected passing of a dear father, brother, and friend, Randy Shively on June 8, 2024, at the age of 51.
James Randy Shivley was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on December 26, 1972, the son of James and Mildred (Oaks) Shivley. Randy proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. His passion for the military continued throughout his life, leading him to a career as a pipefitter at the John Cochran VA Medical Center in St. Louis.
Randy was a dedicated and hard-working individual who always put the needs of others before his own. His commitment to his country and fellow servicemen and women was unwavering, and his service at the VA Medical Center was a testament to his dedication to helping those in need. Randy was also a member of the Du Quoin American Legion Post 647, VFW Post 513, Elks Lodge 884, and the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 160.
